Welcome! I agree with you 100%. I am so proud of the development of Regina through the three seasons and that she works so hard on herself every day to become better. The moments iwth Snow and Henry in the last episode were so amazing and I hope they will write more like this in the rest of season 4.

I don't know if I would regard Regina as the "leading hero" of the show. Actually, I don't see the need for any of the characters to be labeled "hero". I will say that I find Regina to be the most interesting character on the show.

The most interesting character and the character who had the most and the most honest growth.

It was not rushed and she did nto become better over night.

I think she and Emma are meant to share the title of "leading hero." They're often foils of each other.
