It should get warmer next week, but first it's supposed to get REALLY cold (-20 °C) this weekend *brrr* I am like a lizard too, Catia, I love the sunshine

Well my workday is going to be about 2.5 hrs. They're sending us home at 10... perks of living in the South- tiniest chance of winter weather and EVERYONE FREAKS OUT!

Dianna- it's been 50-70 almost everyday this month- this is a strange little cold snap. And it's just sleet/freezing rain- no fun. Just irritating. And I don't envy you your summers- TX is HOT! SC is bad enough...

Anni- I'm glad she found one she liked. And even better that your niece sleeps better now.

I'm supposed to have one of my best friends (since we were 9) over tomorrow- her daughter and mine are 'twins'- born 36 minutes apart. Hopefully the weather will permit it- it's supposed to be worse where she is.

I can't wait to see the dress

So far, it seems like we're going to be able to meet tomorrow It was the weirdest thing- we hadn't talked in months and when we finally caught up we both had big news. Our due dates were 3 days apart. We were like sisters growing up.

Our 'ice day' has been great- took a nap, read a little and now I'm going to have some hot chocolate and then do some housework.

Ok I know I've said this before but I am jealous of this cold weather you guys are having. It will be between 35 and 40 C all weekend here.
It's Australia Day today and we get a long weekend. Going to go out with the kiddies and some family friends tonight.

We had -14 degrees here in Dresden last night, oh my! But today's beautiful sunshine

We are going to the Czech Republic today, it's not far from Dresden. We are going to look around, have something to eat and things like that. Should be fun And then German Idol tonight

How was the Czech Republic Steffi? It would be so cool to be able to travel between countries so easily. So jealous.

From freezing rain yesterday to 54 today- (almost 15C)

I had a great time with my friend today- and my daughter had a great time with her friend. It was so much fun to watch them play together.

Catia- how was shopping? Buy anything fun?

Anni- that dress! Your sister will be BEAUTIFUL! Wow.

Catia, do you get why the weather annoys me now? It was SO cold today, I hated it. But the sunshine was nice, and we had such a great day

We just finished watching German Idol and now... we are drinking, or about to start drinking

The wedding dress is sooo pretty, Anni I am sure your sister will look great in it I would love a dress like that too

Czech Republic was cool - we had lunch there - I had a coke and a full (very full) plate of yummy food for 5 euros That's incredible! And I bought a bottle of vodka which is waaaay cheaper than here in Germany.

Tomorrow we're gonna have Indian food - have a great night, everyone

I'm glad you both like the dress - I really love it, it's so gorgeous and looked amazing on her I'd love to have a similar dress, too, for my wedding
