I know, it's been way too long My sister wanted to visit me with her last week, but then I got sick I mean, I saw her for a few minutes on Saturday when we went to look for wedding dresses for my sister, but I wasn't allowed to come close to her, because I still was pretty sick and had to take her that I don't infect her!

So it's over! It got quite emotional towards the end, and now I am just exhausted, but SO relieved. When I got home this afternoon the first thing I did was sit down on the floor and trying to realize I will never have to commute to Munich again. It feels like a huge block has been lifted from my heart

And I watched the new episode of HoD , which always puts me in a good mood

You always want what you can't have right? We get snow MAYBE once a year.

A dusting on the ground shuts everything down- people stock up on bread/milk as if the apocalypse were nigh. We got 5" 2 years ago and school was cancelled for a week. (Our county doesn't even own a salt truck.)

I LOVE when it snows- sledding, snowmen, snow angels... I'm a little kid when it snows. If it has to be cold it better snow- cold without snow is useless to me.

And the students are crazy today- all I've heard is, "Do you think it will snow?" "Will we get a delay tomorrow?" "Oh, not supposed to start until later? Will we get out early?" "It's been cold lately, maybe it'll stick."

Yeah, nice thing about teaching- when the kids are out, so am I

I prefer spring/fall- I love 70-75 degree weather. But I'd rather be hot than cold.

It's so funny you said that- the other morning it was cold and I was moving slowly and I thought, "Man, I must be part reptile... I need warmth to function."

Rae, hearing you talk about your winter weather makes me a little jealous to be honest. Today here in Texas it was 84 F!! It's supposed to be winter and it's like a warm spring day. My only fear is with this type of hot winter weather, Texas summer is going to be like a furnace!!

Yes, Ailie is a big drinker now! The breast feeding is working very well now and it's a big relieve for my sister and she's also a bit calmer and sleeps better at night
