I'm just saying it'd be kind of a let down to me, personally, if that's where GRRM goes because the trope is so prevalent in other, bad, crappy fantasy books and I enjoy ASoIaF so much because it's unique. So. That's all.
I prefer my heroes to be heroes because of personal qualities or bravery not born from shiny sparkly heritage. Jon Snow is just that. Now, at least. Unless GRRM goes that route. I'd like his character a lot less if they go that way. But that's me. __________________

Why would discovering who he is change anything? He has the qualities already. The truth wouldn't suddenly transform him into anything, like they would give him all the power? If anything, it would put him on even more people's targets...

Oh, yes ... definitely not one hero to this story. The prophesy probably fits the bill for several people.
I think Jon can still be that, Em. Jon is who he is, irregardless of his heritage. If R+L=J is true, he became the person he is with no prior knowledge to that fact and I don't think it will change him. If anything it might just provide some closure for Jon, which I do think he needs. If he's in fact going to survive in some form. But anyway. What's everyone been up to this fine Monday? __________________

It'd just be boring, and like I said, add some trope-yness to his character. His heritage is average how it is, but his accomplishments are what make him such a great character.
But again, my personal preference. __________________

My favorite crackpot theory: The White Walkers aren't the bad guys and are a purge upon the corrupt politics/abominations/over population of Westeros. I would definitely support this for the show.

But aaaaaanyway...
Went to grab some pamphlets at the tourism place, to see for options for me and my mother's vacation in July/August, didn't get all I wanted because they only had Quebec stuff really, and I kind of want to go to Toronto Then had to come back and clean up for a visit from prospective landlords again... They're really nice, hope they get it... |

I support this theory. The White Walkers are like a plague. NO, THEY'RE THE WESTEROSI REAPERS.

My poor father. It's that time of month/I've had some stressful stuff going on, and when he called to chat I just started bawling on the phone. He was like, "Ummm? You okay, honey?" I texted him after we got off the phone apologizing for my crazy.

The Repaers are the White Walkers and their husks are the whites!
I posted in Workshop for both Pammie and Moonie, btw. __________________

He's such a great dad. I'm really lucky. God knew he would be awesome with daughters, which is why he got my sister and I instead of sons. lol.

Go ahead and move on without me, Moonie. I'm not really coming up with anything yet, and I'm about to leave the house.
