Ok, so he says Cesare is ok moving on at the end of S2 because of Lucrezia getting married.. (I didn't see him moving on in that dancing scene, but whatevs) and they're coming back together in S3.. tho they don't say they'll end together in S3..

I think if they make them lovers in s3, they should keep that to the end. Why? Because it's gonna be historically accurate and stuff.

Exactly, let's not base our theories in NJ's interviews cause...

That's what I mean, C/L end up loving each other and reconciled.. but we're not sure if they'll be lovers until the very end.

I think NJ and Showtime were uncertain of whether or not the audience would approve, so he was playing it safe at first. But I think now the show's producers are willing to go for it now that fans of the show have been so positive towards Cesare/Lucrezia and Francois/Holliday. I honestly don't know why they thought they had to play it safe considering what's on GOT, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, etc. Cable TV has become the incest capital of the world.

The "not going there" quote was about season 1.
But the satisfaction quote was about the future seasons. He also said "they will never find a bride or groom that lives up to their expectations".

So it's really C&L forever!!!!

Well, I don't count that as incest, Alex cause they're not blood related and they didn't grow up together.. is like vampire sibling thing.. which is not the same, obviously. Also, every maker does his/her progeny so it's not a shock they went there with these two who shared a maker.

But other shows definitely went there, like Dexter (tho not blood related, still grew up together and I think that's even worst), Boardwalk Empire (cringing), GOT (twincest hells yeah) and even Degrassi went there!

He had an interview at the end of season2 that was refering to the script for season 3 and I can't freaking find it grrrrr.

And yes now I've become obsessed with finding it.

yeah, but Eric goes out of his way to always refer to her as "sister," especially when they're kissing or having sex. And Dexter and Deb aren't blood related either, but you're right in that they did kinda grow up together.
