It really would have. It does feel like every ship lasted an episode. If Arya and Gendry make it out and get together,I'll be able to crack a smile. If Jaime and Brienne live,I hope to god he says sorry and explains himself. He's never going to be enough, but at least she's getting the apology she deserves. She's probably kicking herself because someone else liked her as is and didn't have complications with someone else.

I honestly would prefer not to do this ship vs ship thing.
I still feel like he wanted to push her away so that he can go deal with Cersei himself.

He did it in the crappiest possible way. The documentary said he's still tied up with Cersei and doesn't want her to be alone. Even if he went to kill her, he didn't have to be so extra cruel. I do wish she hadn't woken up. That would have been so much less painful.

It also said he loves Brienne, which makes his choice of words so horrible. It's sort of like what Bran said to Meera.

Sometimes it's easier that way.. I don't say that it's okay he did it, but sometimtes people think they make it easier to the other person if they are mean but actually they don't.. that's life.. so it's okay for me.. even if I don't like it..

I agree that Jaime is probably going to KL thinking he won't be able to come back, so he probably thought it was best for Brienne to move on from him.
Still I felt really sad seeing Brienne crying in the end
