^Hospitals are full, they need beds so they're in talks of transporting people more and more upstate (IF it comes down to it). You gotta think of people there for not just COVID, your cancer patients, car accidents and so on so they gotta have beds for emergencies too. Right now we have a low census, we left an hour early yesterday and today the girls who worked this past weekend left two hours early, I now have tomorrow off. We're trying to give the hours to doctors and nurses (we have 10 positives but none are actually admitted to the hospital yet) and preserve on them because once they start sending people up we may be mandated to stay there.

^Yeah, as of now we have one person in the hospital with it and the hospital has been cleared out. Our censuses was 107 yesterday and last week we were at 150. I just hope nobody’s being pushed off who seriously needs a hospital, to make room for covid patients.

^What sucks for us is we've gotten grants etc for that stuff and it's being used for other things. Example A. instead of using 5 billion for equitment and staffing, our city is building a brand new hospital. So we're going from two hospitals each with 300 beds to one hospital with 375 beds, so when another epidemic like this happens the sick patients will have to go right over us into the next city. Just crazy. Our nurses and doctors suck here too for the most part, way too many law suits happening that so many people don't realize.

^ no more peds, no more labor and delivery etc..knowing all of this I cannot believe that they're going to send covid people here. We had nurses sleeping in the cafe yesterday on their half hour because they had 12-15 hours left because people are quitting to not have to deal with this. Just crazy. We've also had 3 murders and 1 suicide since Friday night too so it's only going to get worse here before it even gets better and not even with the sickness.

She says thank you we're gonna do cake and ice cream and my mom and I are giving her the rest of her presents. And she wants homemade macaroni and cheese, corn and grilled chicken for dinner so she's going to get that .
