Maybe they planned on killing him off since the beginning of this show. I was always wondering why Tiffany Hines got to do the (grey) promo shoot and not Ashton, while it seemed that in the beginning, he had more episodes and Jaden hardly appeared in any.

But I guess now we know why.

Hey everyone.

I feel so bipolar. I was a mess of emotions last night ... man Nikita the things you do to me. I kind of prepared myself for Thom's death...I predicted something like this would go down. Though I didn't want it to be him.

It was the promo that tipped me off too Ducky.

When it came on and I saw Jaden was standing there and not him...I went NOOOOO. I hadn't paid attention to it before. You know maybe they could bring him back for a few episodes? (wishful thinking?) He said to her, "You gonna see me" at the end...Maybe they could bring him back as someone always there for her bc he was her first kill? Haunting a bit I know but it could work also a little Supernatural but but .....I'm desperate to see him back!

I noticed that too. But I don't know, he was an important character after all...for Alex. And Alex is one of the main.
Yeah, it's possible that they planned to kill him since the beginning...but why they showed to us his feelings for Alex and the Alex ones for him? Just to make his death more desperate and sad?

Probably the "you gonna see me" is referred to the fact that she'll always see the people she killed. Thom said in this episode also "When you kill someone, they never die. You see their face everyday.".

The only way to see him again later (in upcoming episodes or for the season finale or next season) is if for real someone saved him and he's not dead, but no one knows that, neither the viewers. I don't think the writers would bring him back as a ghost or something, it would be weird for this show. Of course there would be the Alex dreams, but I don't know, it would be pretty useless for the story, IMO

Yeah you are probably right.

I just want to see him back somehow...I am completely heart broken by what happened still. Ashton & Lyndsy were incredible though. They blew the scene out of the park and then some with the emotion and chemistry....

Hey everyone! So I was thinking about it, and even though Thom's death sucked beyond words, it was the most meaningful thing Alex will ever do, and he will always be with her in that way.

It was an accident, but he was (and still will be) a huge enormous part of her life, and I really loved that.

But now back to reality, wtf I miss Thom.

BTW, this title is so true.

Hi - New poster but I have been reading the Thom & Alex boards for awhile. Love that there are so many Thalex shippers! Thom's death was really unexpected. How heartbreaking was their conversation in the locker room when Thom tells Alex that she is strong, stronger than himself and he knew it when he first met her. Sounded like a premonition of something bad to come but not this!
