As of late, I get the feeling that the writers are playing us. Maybe it's unintention, maybe not, but they never give us what we want. And, when they do it's all taken away from us practically the next episode. Same goes for SE, we get an amazing scene between them in the episode, "Homecoming," and now what do we have of them?

Nothing.

I agree, but I'm kind of ok with the fact that Katherine is MIA at the moment because Klaus is actually living in Mystic Falls. But if Klaus dies (I love him so I'm really torn about this) there is no reason for Katherine to stay away anymore and that's when I want a lot of SK bonding scenes.

The problem is that they have too much characters on the show so they need to cut some for others.

But I think that a few characters will die this season so Katherine will hopefully have more screen time in S4
