I doubt anyone from TVD said a thing to Nina about her tweets. She didn't tweet anything offensive to anyone. Who would have the nerve to tell her "Hey Nina, could you please not tweet about or to Derek about any of his shows, of Emmy wins etc any more, we fear TVD fans might not like it. Actually, ypu may not have any private life nor act like you do, as TVD fans may not like it". That would go over so well...

This. I don't think this whole not tweeting Derek is some ploy by the network to put more focus on DE/the show. I doubt Nina would even agree to put her life on hold just to appease to some fans who can't separate her life from who she plays and is in a relationship with in TVD.

Nina is promoting TVD lately so it is possible that she is not tweeting Derek right now for the same reason. I know Nina has never tried to appease fans and I doubt it will change but you don't want your real life issues overshadowing your show so it is possible that it is her own decision and not the network.

I think just Nina protects Derek and Julianne and Mark , fans wrote bad things to her friends on Twitter (

I do think it's her decision for sure, but not to "please" "fans", but to somewhat let the dust settle, to not get so much hate tweets etc. Like we all know it was really bad for a while for even Julianne and Mark, not just Nina and Derek.

It may be coincidence but did you guys notice that Derek and Nina were both twitter silent all day and both posted for the first time about a half hour ago. Do we know for sure where Nina is. If they did not have to shoot today she may be in LA. Just speculation on my part but what do you guys think?
