Oh really? I guess I definitely saw the stress between then, but never really feared for them, I knew that they could get through it. They are one of the strongest relationships I've ever seen.

Yeah, really... I was afraid. I really understood Kahlan in that episode and was kind of pissed by Richard at first, too.
 I really liked Denee and her little family. It's been so heartbreaking to know that at first Richard and Kahlan did everything to save them all to hear just a few months later that Denee and the rest of them has been killed.  __________________

I don't know who I sided with really, I could both of their opinions to be honest. I haven't seen it in awhile, but I think that Richard could have done a little more to see where Kahlan was coming from.
That was heartbreaking, that they were all killed anyway, it's really so sad. |

Yeah, I agree on your opinion about Richard. He was kind of right away on Cara's side. That sounds strange, I know, but somehow it seemed that he didn't even try to look at it out of Kahlan's POV. That's what I didn't like about it.
It definitely was sad. We never got to see the Denee actress again... Sadly.__________________

You know, I was wondering the same... There is that moment when Richard tells Kahlan that he understands what she had to go through and that he could send Cara away... What do you think why didn't he hug her?

Hmm...you know I can't really remember that moment, or the context of how that happened, as to what would bring him to not hug her, aside from the fact that I remember in S2 they didn't share a lot of hugs.
