Ok someone pointed out that the last Octavia scene was a complete ripoff of the Lord of the Rings scene ( the Aragorn falling, ending up in a river before his horese wakes him up)

This added with Roan actually wearing Aragorn's clothes ! WTH ?

This is my favorite episode for the intense moment as I like (except for the Lincoln sword)

Noooooo! Don't ruin that scene for me. I honestly don't recall the music. Probably because I was so focused on Bellamy's reaction. I knew Octavia wouldn't really be dead, but I just knew Bellamy's reaction would be gut wrenching for me.

And yes, Octavia's non-death was a total rip off of The Two Towers. I was already getting some Aragorn feels when she first approached the cliff. Then when she fell? I was just waiting for the horse to come for her.

Overall I liked this episode. It was much better than last week's, in my opinion. Though I was a bit irritated with Luna. I mean, I get that she feels like a prisoner and is wondering what the point of it all is. But really? She's going to run off and just condemn all of humanity to death by radiation? She's going to have some lonely days. Or might as well just kill herself.

So THAT'S why it looked like Octavia was totally NOT riding a horse I tried not to let it distract me and I knew she wasn't really on one, but they needed to make her bounce a bit more. Gallops are smooth, but the rate at which the trees were passing made it look more like a canter IMO and she was sailing along as smooth as can be.

ETA I feel like I'm like each new episode more than the last. Which is good!

Lisa, you are a little nitpicky lately. I thought the same thing, though. And I thought the same thing back in whatever episode it was where Clark was supposed to be riding a horse.
