IMO, it's Elena judging by the profile from the side and front view. Actually think it's NOT a hallucination and that maybe this scene will be used as a cliffhanger to tide us over til the next hiatus is over. Really hoping that this scene is part of the amazing bonding moment Ian tweeted about.
