I didn't like these two before, but they are definately the best choice for Caroline right now imo. I started to love Forwood more in season 2, but after season 2, it was all shallow relationship. :

They're definitely my preferred choice for both those characters. I think they had a really great chemistry and a sweetness to them. I wish Matt had found out about Caroline being a vampire in a better way, it could have helped them survived. It's weird though - when they broke up they still loved each other but now that they're both single, the writers are not trying to pursue them anymore. Sucks

they do have Caroline and her many suitors though so...eh.

I haven't shipped Forwood since Season 2. It got so shallow imo.

I like how they interacted in 5x11. FINALLY!. I made a video of them please check it out. I need the views to go up. My favorite moment of them is the 1x12 when Matt finally kisses Caroline. A start of their relationship. I really wish they can have another chance. I would love to see their cuteness on my screen.

I never shipped them but they had some amazing moments that were so sweet and romantic.

I always feel giddy when i re-watch their first kiss or the scene where Caroline sings to him
