I hate rushed storylines too, I dont like ones that are TOO drawn out either but usually TVD is pretty good at balancing

I like TVD fast pace. It's fast enough to not get boring or feel rushed.

^Oh absolutely. And it'll be the only non-contrived explanation for why Elijah doesn't kill the Salvatores. But it shouldn't be because of some misguided sense of honour - no one is that honourable.

I like how he can switch from calm and cool to scary, ancient vamp but still be realistic.

The twirl was so cute

. I also love how charming he is with Jenna, and frankly treats women with respect in general. He respected Rose for being loyal to Trevor, he was impressed with Elena's negotiation skills and he's a charmer around Jenna and Andie.

that's a good question. I think in order to make things interesting he will try to kill D and S. I mean the witches that he was with died, they killed him, and he already told Damon that when things were over he was going to hurt/kill him.
