Watched Friends & Lovers (4x15) today. I felt bad for Tony's cop friend who turned out to be the ex of Jeanne... At least the cop died without knowing that Tony became "his replacement"...

Jeanne to Tony: "You know how wonderful it is to be with someone who doesn't even lie about the little things? Go on."

From the same episode this quote from Jeanne pretty much summarizes how hurt she will end up being..

I felt bad for both of them or do now when I watch because of that line. You know how it'll end now so it is sad that she felt that way when really he was lying to her. But then also for Tony for making friends with the guy only to have him be her ex

It's just so bittersweet to watch them with the knowledge of how it will end...

At least in the end Tony got Tali, and Jeanne got married to a fellow doctor...

I sometimes wonder if the cop friend knew it was Tony. While it took Jeanne awhile to tell that she was with someone else. Something tells him if he was that insistant, he might have already known.

Yeah Jeanne got someone who loved her. And Tony got Tali.

Yeah I think they brought back Jeanne to give Tony closure because Michael was leaving. And to start to make him think and Gibbs had for awhile tried to push him a little to find something outside work.

And Tali gave him that way.

I had the same feeling about the cop, and it was also sort of unclear how he actually died... Or at least I missed the part where he was shot...
