It's fascinating how certain actors have mastered the art of looking suspicious or downright villainous. Their expressions, body language, and even the tone of their voice can give it all away before the plot even unfolds. It's like they have a secret code written on their faces that viewers instantly decode.

It's more of a blessing & curse I imagine - especially if they are decent/good people in their private lives...

If you're as intrigued as I am, I'd recommend diving into Shea Joelle James's take on the subject. You can find her insights and read here. It's a deep dive into the world of crime drama acting that's sure to leave you with a new appreciation for those "suspicious" faces on screen.

Quick update:
I was rewatching s12e8 of NCIS today, and I'm almost fully certain that the Viatneme man at the end of the episode was played by the same actor who became the villian at the Hetty-in-Vietnam episodes in LA afterwards __________________

Interesting... I've got no idea as I don't remember that NCIS ep. Also no idea if that character is credited. There were some actors credited in that NCIS ep who also appeared on LA but not in the role you're thinking of

Just checked again.. 12e7 had the Viatnemese actor...
But it's good to know that 12e8 also has actors which were in LA too I'm mid-season 12 with my rewatch... though I'm skipping all ghe Sergei episodes... which means that I'm more likely to spot guest stars __________________

Yes it was the same actor
It's funny how the franchise is connected due to all the guest stars really... __________________

Indeed
But I only get annoyed by a few... if one of the roles was a reoccuring chaeacter who shouldn't have shown up somewhere else in the franchise... __________________
