And I've seen Scottie Thompson in a CSI:Miami episode as a one-scene extra. That was probably before her ncis time though... __________________

CSI Miami started a year before NCIS I think. Scottie Thompson appeared on the show in 2006 which was the same year she started on NCIS. So the appearance was around the same time.

Thanks for looking it up
 Yeah, she looked like the same age as when she joined NCIS, but based on the fact that she was only visible for half a scene figured that it must have been filmed before her becoming known... __________________

Exactly, but at least she was an extra with her name being mentioned after the opening credits "additional cast" subtitles... which is more than many others would have gotten after appearing for half a scene...

I think that there's a few actors who have been on a few of the crime shows. They've appeared on at least two of the three franchises of L&O, NCIS, & CSI. If not other crime shows which were all on around that same time
