Me too - it'd work well on Tuesdays, too, with Fringe. There are lots of options, so if finding it a partner is the ONLY thing keeping it from being renewed, I think we're in good shape.

Global TV is dead to me.

International network Global TV have added a banner to their website advertising a “New Season” of Dollhouse, “Coming this Fall”. Global aired the full first season in sync with FOX this season. Is it a misprint? Is it true? Update: The advert in question added to article. Update 2: FOX have responded. “The series has not been renewed yet. Any renewal announcement would be made at the upfront Presentation a week from today.”

Fox also picked up the drama pilot Human Target with Fringe actor Mark Valley as a man who takes on a different identity each week to help others. One could see the Target pickup as potentially threatening to Fox's Dollhouse, which has a similar setup, or as potential boon, should Fox decide to pair the two shows. Sources say Dollhouse fans shouldn't lose hope; that despite the show's recent ratings, the show is still alive. Whedon pitched the network on his vision for season two late last week. Discussions have commenced between Fox and the studio about how to make the show work financially.

Human Target is a great comic book. Or was rather. And I love Mark Valley. But if they cancel Dollhouse, I probably won't bother.

I think it's a really good thing they're discussing finances, it means the studio wants to do it and the network is considering it.

I'm still trying to stay optimistic and despite our ratings the lead up to renewal hasnt been that bad where Joss is concerned. We havent had any horrible news.
