Yeah, because it was the big opening night for Star Trek that can be put to why the ratings were so bad

Regardless of the reason, still makes it bad news that the show did poorly.

no it is Friday night a lot of sport playoffs are on . Prison break 2nd to last episode ever only did 3 million , and they plugged the heck out of that show.

Weird week even Lost ,normally gets 12-14 million had only 8 million viewers plus the ratings where all messed up this week . Grey's huge 100th episode 15 million .

24 did 11 million

So we are in recession and yet people go to the movies . As i told Sarah ,Dollhouse does very well in DVR ratings .

FOX should look at I Tunes downloads DVR /TIVO viewers ,see at least another million + watch the show .

No reason Fox can;t take a show that has started to get a good following and dump it for another show that will most likely fail .Or Fringe and Lie to Me have been big ratings surprises , but they have mid week 9pm slots . Give Dollhouse a Tuesday night slot .

plenty of other networks could use a great show like this.

PS: if you have not voted for a new TV show to get a its own board please give NCIS a vote it is only 15 away from 100

Well this sucks especially since it was quite possibly the best ep of the season, I thought we would get better ratings.

I agree that plenty of other networks could you use a great show like this but I dont know how that would work with Eliza's contract.

The ratings make me a little sad, but the reviews for the episode are good at least. It seems like it was a very well-liked episode critically.

That's an interesting point. I actually stayed home b/c it's like impossible to get tickets to a new movie on opening weekend where I am. But if I lived in a different area, I might have gone to see that movie instead.

I agree that it doesnt really matter about why we got bad ratings just that we did.

If I hadn't gone to see Star Trek on Thursday I would have gone on Friday. =/

Radha: Dollhouse's chances of renewal are reportedly slim. Please, please say it isn't so! Do you have any happier news?

You know that 14th episode of Dollhouse that's set in a post-Apocalyptic universe and that won't be appearing on Fox network but will be included on the season-one DVD? Well, no one's officially confirming anything, and this is all still entirely in the theoretical dreamy dream stage, but reliable sources tell us exclusively that spinning off "Epitaph One" into a new series is "not exactly outside the realm of Joss’ master plan." So even if Dollhouse proper doesn't get a pickup for season two, there might still be an alternate Dollverse for us to play in. What do you think of that?!

That is interesting. Don't know how I'll feel about that until I see the episode.

Just checked my iTunes and Dollhouse' Omega episode is currently sitting at #4 under 'top tv episodes'... that's good, right?

I'm not sure how an alternate DH show would do any better. Like Sibby said, I won't know until I see the episode.

Honestly, I think Fox should order maybe a limited number of episodes, say 13. And air it on a different night. If it doesn't do well then, pull the plug. This show wasn't given a fighting chance and that's what makes me angry.

Agreed! It's not been given the same opportunities as other shows to excel. I mean, TTSCC even got a post-superbowl premiere, I think. It'd be nice if someone at Fox could just throw Joss a freaking bone. Pair it with Fringe, or something.
