TTSCC has been given a million chances IMO. Not to mention it's part of a franchise that has generated hundreds of millions of dollars in the first place. No offense to anyone who likes it.

It's sad that it's probably gonna get cancelled, but it definitely had a fighting chance. The success of the franchise kind of suggests that it may have been able to still fare well on Friday nights because there was (or should have been) a strong following.

But with DH... it's like FOX should know how Joss shows work. Joss Whedon is not the Terminator. All of his shows start out with small but strong fan-bases, so knowing that they should help strengthen it by putting it on a more prosperous night.

"Joss Whedon is not the terminator"

ITA, though. Terminator got a second season, so Dollhouse should get that chance, too.

It debuted during the writer's strike (yet another big chance). I think it started off really well, and then kept sliding. I might be mistaken, but I think that's why it was put on Friday nights in the first place. But I don't know the numbers.

Shows still "on the bubble" and yet to be renewed: "Bones," "Dollhouse," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," "Sit Down, Shut Up." Fox is taking a good look at the seven comedy and five drama pilots it has in development before making what looks to be the two most difficult decisions here - "Bones" and "Dollhouse." The first has been a steady if unspectacular performer and the latter was a disappointment that showed signs of life late in the run. The question for Fox is whether it can find a sci-fi styled match for "Dollhouse" or not. Everything else looks dead.

Final spin: With limited availability on the schedule, there could be one or two surprises in the cancellation department (including the potential survival of "Dollhouse"). Based on the success of "Fringe" and "Lie to Me," there's no pressing need to green-light a lot of dramas (maybe two).
sigh, fox. In good news, one of their 'hot contender' new drama pilots is a sci-fi, it seems.

Bones is "one the bubble"? I thought that show did really well.

Well, that article gave me a glimmer of hope. Thanks for it.

Ooh, I loved the "Human Target" comics. I hope that show makes it.

I also had no idea that 'Bones' is in trouble......
From what I heard they always got great ratings, no matter what time slot they were put in.

Thanks for that article Its a ray of light

Exactly about Joss Joss has a very loyal fanbase which might be small but his shows normally gain fans over the series's ran

Only got into this series after about episode 6 or 7 (we don't get this in the UK) when I watched all of the episodes up to then back-to-back and got hooked, really hope this gets picked up again for another season.

On the boxart, looks a bit like a poster/boxart for a movie to me than a TV series, should have used an overhead of one of the sleeping areas with the 5 pods branching out like the title card or something like that.

Bones in trouble? Didn't expect that! I'm not a big fan, but I do like to watch it sometimes, especially since I love the two leads.
