I was just listening to that one in the car this afternoon. I'm dying to see the movie again. They way they put together that number was so fun. I'm wondering if they do it the same way on stage...

It was really clever, the whole number is just incredible!

I wonder that as well. I bet on stage it's even more grand....ahhhh, I'd love to see it!

Cell Block Tango is great and I really love watching it when it's staged very Fossee because it's a real showcase for dancers.

I was so mad at the Academy for over looking Richard Gere, he made a fantastic Billy.

He did a good job, plus he was so swarmy I just thought he rocked it. Maybe people didn't know what category to put him in? That's the only reason I could think to overlook him.

Btw, did anyone ever see Usher play Billy? I know he was on Broadway with it but I never got a chance to see any of his performance.

Strangely, I liked the movie a lot more than the musical in the theatre. I think this had to do with the movie's editing, which they won an Oscar for. Good for them!
