Was the crowd really that small??? I don't remember seeing a shot of the stands, to be honest. But it sounded larger than that during the intros, didn't it?

It was probably that small because the game started 10 minutes after doors opened. And I don't think a lot of people were aware that this game was going on, at least not ticket holders. Those two particular pictures were from right when the game started, so I can't imagine many people were there right when doors opened, booked it through security and all the other extra All-Star distractions and got right to their seats for the game to start.

In comparison, for a normal game doors would open an hour and a half before start time.

They're airing a special behind the scenes NHL All Access of the NHL All-Star weekend, Taylor is included. Sounds like they might have had him mic'ed up during the game. The segment for the Celebrity game might not be too long but I'm sure it'll still be worth checking out.

It replays on the 8th, the original air date is the 6th, they kind burry it in the lead.

I'm sure I'll think and probably say, "he sounds so much like a hockey player" at least five times while watching this.
