I'm watching The Barstool Rundown. It was actually live.... and they actually talked about the Celebrity Shootout... and they actually only talked about Bieber and NO TAYLOR!!

Maybe he's not on the TV show, he was on the podcast yesterday but they didn't touch on it, they were just talking about being in Houston and the superbowl.

I recorded and sat through all those stupid entertainment shows yesterday and the only one that even mentioned the game was TMZ's show -- and of course it was all about the Bieber photo. They showed footage of Bieber on the ice for about 5 seconds and I spotted Taylor for about 2 of those 5 seconds. To be honest, even that was thrilling. Haha. It was bigger than my phone screen at least.

I'm not really surprised it didn't get any coverage. Maybe on the Canadian entertainment shows, but hockey is low man on the totem poll to begin with in the US, and other than Bieber getting his face smashed into the corner boards not much else to report on.
I could kick myself, because CBC started doing coverage of the skills competition while the celebrity game was still on. Ron MacLean, who took that picture with Taylor before the game, hosts hockey night in Canada so they threw it to him down on the ice right after the game. He interviewed Bieber, but I saw a few mentions on Twitter about the way Ron looked at Taylor (like he was enamored) makes me believe he interviewed Taylor as well. But CBC doesn't replay or post that show on their website. It's not on demand, I checked. Grr. Just one of the tweets that made me think he was interviewed. |
