Voodoo was always all about himself. That's not what the Panthers are about. It goes back to the original book, the fact that the team never really produced superstars that went on to do big things at the college or pro level it was all about them collectively.

None of the FNL cast got any EMMY love until season 4 and 5 and then it was only Connie and Kyle getting recognition. Zach not being nominated for The Son continues to be a serious injustice.

Kyle and Connie were nominated two years in a row for Emmys, but the show was not nominated for best drama for season 4. It was nominated for season 5 but lost to Mad Men. Kyle won the last time he was nominated. The show did win for best writing for season 5 as well.
