Texas was a republic. It's not anymore Julie. It is in fact a state. And we cannot decide to be our own nation again, as is often suggested. We only retained that right for the first 100 years after we became a state. BUT, because we were a republic we can fly our state flag equal to the US flag. All other states must be flown under it.

Maybe it could have been the weekend, but then they cut right to the scene with Coach/Voodoo and they probably wouldn't be there on a weekend, unless it was to review game film on a Saturday.
