Weird that it's not even vaguely familiar.

The beauty of the writing is that you can't stand Billy and yet you also don't outright hate him. Same with Buddy, to be honest.

Oh yeah, they were asking how hard some of the emotional scenes were to play and Billy said that at the point they had to do the heavy stuff with Tim going to jail that he and Taylor were super close so it wasn't hard to imagine that Taylor was actually going to prison for him and it "made him want to cry right now" he said it a few times.

That's the beauty with pretty much all the characters on FNL, they were fleshed out so well over the seasons. I think the only character that didn't have a single shred of a redeeming quality was Joe McCoy.

And none of the characters were perfect, either. They all made mistakes, or at one point acted like a brat. Some more than others, of course (here's looking at you, Julie!

I think that's one of the reasons it worked so well. You see flaws in characters in other shows, but this was just so genuine. You really felt like you were pulling back the curtain and watching real people, in their real lives, work through their real problems in real ways.

It was easy to forgive their flaws most of the time because they were all in all good people. I mean, Julie was hard to stomach but her offenses were still generally minor stupid teenage/young adult mistakes.

I wish I could! I'm in tonight but we're marathoning Homeland. It's snowing, it's supposed to snow all weekend, we're supposed to get a ton of snow so if anyone is around tomorrow night I will be too. Most definitely Sunday night when this snow storm gets in full swing.

I think we are supposed to get a little snow on Monday morning... just in time for the morning commute, which for a teacher is YIPEE! Delayed opening!

I won't be home tomorrow night but hopefully Sunday. I actually am running out for a drink with my neighbor now. lol I ran into him at the dumpster a few minutes ago. haha
