Thought I'd start this thread since it seems like we have a production start date. Cinemaholic, which is generally pretty reliable, has the start date of May 2024

This is the best early Christmas gift!!! Cannot wait for this series. Have watched Terminal List so many times. Am obsessed with Ben Edwards character (not the book version though). Hopefully lots more stills for me to do my drawing from). My husband will be so glad about this - not!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

I would guess this is filming in LA again, so he'll at least probably be more visible this summer, which will be nice.
Probably aren't looking at a release date until mid to late 2025. |

I figured we were looking at 2025 for this. With shooting starting in the early summer and lasting a few months, I would think he might not take much else on next year unless it’s short and sweet schedule wise.

A word from Jack Carr on 2023 and Taylor's series.

More good news. Terminal List was just kind of meh to me BUT him and Chris have great chemistry and I’m excited to see what they do with this prequel.
I hope him not wrapping Primeval doesn’t hold up production on this. |

Terminal List was a little too much for me. To be honest I sat through it once but otherwise just watched Taylor's scenes. I liked the character of Ben more than the actual story so I'm hoping with more focus on him that the prequel will be more my speed.
I think there's enough time before May that they should get American Primeval done by then. |

I liked Terminal List. Lee would have LOVED it. I’ve only watched it once.

He does a lot of movies/shows that are not targeted toward women.

This is why doing a rom com or something female friendly could give his career and profile a boost. I don’t think he cares about that but most females aren’t excited about watching the projects he gravitates towards. FNL gave him plenty of female recognition but that was a long time ago. He could pick up a whole new fan base by just changing the type of genre he does.

The Grand Seduction is one of my favorite Taylor movies! And the Normal Heart of course.

I think in general his tv choices are more women friendly or just have more general appeal...but his projects that would probably appeal to a female audience:
Friday Night Lights Savages (kind of, just because of the hot guy factor) Grand Seduction Normal Heart I don't expect him to do a straight romcom but a lot of women's interest is just having a love story or some sort of element of a love story and he doesn't do that often. |
