I know Reese has heard some of the songs. lol So Chris Martin and Gwyneth probably have too. And Jake's friends with them too.

I really don't think there are going to be any mean, "screw you Jake" songs. Even though she has this reputation like that's all she writes about, it's not. I didn't think any of the songs about Joe were mean, just sad (minus the 'scared little boy' line). And "Dear John" was just heartbreakingly honest. It wasn't a 'revenge' thing either.
She wrote more of that kind of thing when she was just starting out, as a teenager. But like she said recently, as you get older, you change the way you process emotions.

It seems like he screwed her over, and if that's the case, I'm sure we'll hear about it. But not as a way of getting back at him, just as her being honest.
I think that's what Jake's songs will be like. She said in Harper's Bazaar that the album was about the "rise and fall" of a relationship. So I think there are going to be songs from the whole spectrum of their relationship, not just the breakup. I'm so excited! I think it's going to be her best album yet. And I can't wait to hear who she's been working with.

i'm excited to see how they'll end up as well! in a way, i hope we get some "screw you" songs. we haven't had that in a while! it'll definitely be an interesting take on things, to see the whole spectrum of the relationship. i can't wait to see how it'll turn out, nonetheless.

I'll miss the Red era because it's just such a perfect album. I still love ATW with all my heart, that relationship must have had a very bitter ending for Taylor. I really like Jake, what has he done to her poor heart?
