I don't think either are great friends, personally, but if I had to choose between hem, Madison is the better of the two.
In the episode where Amy was going to leave town with Mimsy, at least Madison went there to say goodbye to Amy. I don't care of Lauren's parents said she couldn't be around her anymore, that's stupid. Lauren is just arrogant and Madison is a sheep. __________________
