This is another Review and it's not very flattering to Josh, but then it sounds like Josh may have had a lot going on inside this Play and having to learn sign to boot may have contributed to it.

Here's a radio interview with Josh, Kenny and Lauren which puts into perspective some of what Josh has had to learn. I'm not sure though that the stage acting argument holds water as it seems this is Lauren's first proper stage play and her performance is described as spellbinding but I'm sure Josh's performance will get better as the play goes on, he's had a lot to take on after all! This interview makes it clear he's going to Broadway when it transfers next year

Was the critic a man by any chance? If so it stands to reason that the female lead will stand out. Also Kenny picked her for the role as he saw something special in her. I'm sure once Josh gets into the swing of it he will rise to the challenge - that's what I admire about him the most. He seems to get what is needed for a role and work at it til he gets it.

Just listened to the radio interview and from what Kenny Leon was saying about Josh and Lauren's performances he appears to be happy with the way things are going. As Kenny said, not many American actors could do this role and he has a lot of faith in Josh.

Another gorgeous pic - just when I think he is starting to age a bit, he shaves and looks 20 years younger! What did one of the showrunners say about him when on Fringe (referring to his maturity as an actor) - has he really got a portrait in the attic a la Dorian Grey!

Just listened to the interview. A really great one and I recommend it because it explains the complexities of Josh's role. I wish all interviews could be like this. The guy asked great questions and it was really insightful.
