It's funny how I'm not very concerned about the film schedule of The Affair now that it's pretty obvious that Josh won't be in S5. Sad though, I'm ready for him to do another TV project.

I'm still wondering why he went to the Showtime boxing event last month. Unless, maybe, he went as a guest of Dom and/or Maura.

They have only been filming for two months. According to Sarah's IG, she introduced the lady that is directing episode 5. She didn't say directed, so I'm assuming (whether it's right) that is what they are doing at present. They started filming 8th November and usually go for about four to five months. That's what previous seasons have been. So, it's possible, a big IF, that he might be in one or two eps towards the end, if they wanted him to complete the story line for Anna's character.

But don't forget Anna's story is going to be in a 30 year time jump into the future. Are they really going to put makeup on Josh to make him look like a 80 year old?

True, but there could be a flashback to when she was young and a conversation she may have had with Cole about Alison.

He was in Montauk before the shooting started so maybe he will make some guest appearances in future episodes or maybe he has done some filming which will be incorporated in some episodes. Ruth did all her scenes at the beginning of last season, so maybe Josh did the same this season. I'm not holding out much hope though. I think a lot of the action will be the kids of the original characters, more than the original 4.

Based on Sarah Treem's Instagram, this season is going to focus heavily on the Solloways, especially Whitney (looks like she'll get her own POV too.)

True, and I remember in those pics he did look very Cole-like, with the thicker beard. (Although I think he had the ginger hair.

With temporary colour they could make him look like Cole if they needed to but he was probably just visiting his friends there. Unless Cole let Joanie practice hair dressing on him!

I know what you mean. I was always more interested in the Lockharts right from the beginning.
