This is the first year in a long time that I'm living where my family lives, so I need to get actual gifts - not gift certificates.

Do you like buying gifts or feel obligated to do so?

I like buying them - but I like to put some thought into them and get something the person will really like and that fits with their personality and what they like to do. I almost never give clothing. So actually, I like that I can buy actual gifts instead of gift cards, but I haven't been down here long enough to really know what people want or would like.

I went out yesterday to get my hair cut. Still trying to find a good place to do that in these parts. Not sure I'm crazy about the cut, but I did like the place. Need to tell them to cut it shorter next time.

Afterwards, I went to the store to buy a couple of new clips for my hair. Spent over $200.

... not just on hair clips! :lol:
