It was. The Gardens is a collection of landscaped and themed gardens each representing a different country. There is a statue of Ghandi in the India section. A greenhouse featuring exotic plants. Ever seen lemons the size of grapefruits? Around 33 countries are represented.

My puppy had her surgery yesterday. She's home now and mostly sleeping - but I can tell she is very upset with me for allowing this to happen to her. :(

@l3jandra 10-25-2019 04:04 PM

What did she had?!?! :(

FoxPhile 10-26-2019 03:50 PM

I had her spayed, but she's also got a problem with her liver so while they were in there, they took a liver biopsy as well and also repaired a small hernia. Poor little thing has a 5 inch (12.7 cm) incision.

Ironhorse25 10-26-2019 07:38 PM

Why did you have her spayed while still a pup?

It's best to spay puppies before they go into heat the first time. It reduces the chance of several diseases, including breast cancer and uterine infections. Since small dogs (she's a Shih Tzu) mature earlier than larger breeds, most vets recommend spaying small and toy breeds at about 6 months. Since I have no plans at all of ever breeding her, it made sense to spay her before she would have any chance of that.

stlavin95 10-28-2019 09:29 PM

That makes sense

stlavin95 11-01-2019 03:25 PM

How is everyone?

Cleveland sounds like a great place to live.

Sometimes. :lol:

A local movie theater was just named a national historic site. There are so few old-fashioned single screen theaters left, and this is one is a nice one. I'm hoping to go there sometime soon to catch a movie and enjoy the movie palace experience again.
