I feel like Navid gets off on people pitying him. Seriously. I do. My problem isn't that he's impulsive but he doesn't use any common sense.

He goes to a guidance counsellor and complains about his father's porn instead of to his mother. The heck? And then he acts shocked that his father got in trouble with the law and cries to Silver about it.

He gives Dixon the most basic tasks and before Dixon can tell him about Snoop Dogg, he launches into how he's slighted. And yes, I understand he was angry both times, but it also proves he likes listening to the sound of his own voice.

He goes to Adrianna to pour out his sadness even though he said she was nothing before this "pill" mess went down.

And for next week's promo, why does he leave Dixon with all the Blaze work? And notice how it's just him on camera now for the Blaze? Ugh.

And going to the counselor about his dad was foolish but I don't think his mom would've been much help. Lady seems clueless about everything.

But he didn't have to complain to her. He was supposed to be "resting" so to speak.

The lady ain't that clueless. She was going to suffer too and instead she got blindsided.

He was drunk, I don't think he really knew what he was doing which was Adrianna's plan all along. I don't think she minded much that she was complaining to her. I don't get why she wants him so badly, after what he did to her. Move on, find someone better who won't cheat on you.


What his dad was doing is immoral and unethical..sucks it hurt the family like that but it was deserved. No one told the dad to run, he could've stuck it out, taken his punishment like a man but he's the one that chose not to do that, not Navid's fault.

It was his choice to get drunk. Just like it's his choice to do all of these actions when he's messed up in the past. He didn't even apologize for cheating until months later because he thought he was totally in the right. He always thinks he's right. Ade can't do a topless photo because he thinks it's not right. The counsellor has to know their family business because it's not right. If it benefits him, it's alright.

Of course it's unethical, but the fact that he didn't expect it to have consequences was stupid. Navid could've told Ade he cheated and taken the result like a man. He really is as weak as we say he is.

True, I don't think that Navid is worth any of this hassle really to be honest. I think for Adrianna, she's just lost her way completely. It's obvious right now that she can think of nothing else but getting him back. I don't even think that the pill thing was about revenge on Silver, it just seems to be all about getting back with Navid and having him in love with her again.

Now this I agree with. Navid has always been self righteous. It's actually a trait I think he and Silver share. They're self righteous and not afreaid to lecture anyone about ~ethics which would be fine if they weren't so hypocritical.

I think Ade wants Navid back because
1. She loves him.
2. She believes he is hers and no one else's.
3. She's bonkers. (I just learnt this cute English word)

4. She doesn't practically have anybody else in her life. (Naomi??)

Adrianna had no problem refilling his glass though. Yes, it was his choice but your point was he was complaining to Adrianna about it. But she's the one that chose to be there, she wants him to be drunk. He didn't seek her out and ask her to meet with him.

Name one character that hasn't made a mistake in the past. Why is Navid held to such higher expectations?

It's his right to have opinions about his girlfriend doing topless photo shoots. If she doesn't agree with him, she has every right to break up with him and do what her heart desires. It's not like he held her at gunpoint, forcing her to do anything. (I honestly don't even remember this part of the storyline.. )

How does him getting his dad in trouble benefit him? He just lost all his money and his dad.

I thought he did admit to cheating on her?

^ He did admit it, but after, like, a month he'd been ******g Silver, and only after Adrianna herself asked him (after her infamous encounter with Nelly LOL).

Chas. I'm surprised they haven't drowned in their own pool of self-righteousness.

I'm not denying Adrianna wanted to be there. I'm just saying that he's hurt her in the past and now is conveniently using her as his sounding board.

We're holding him to these standards because we had a problem with him in this episode. If it was someone else in a different episode, it'd be the same thing.

Navid's going to tell you his opinion whether you like it or not. I was actually glad Ade stuck to her guns there. She should've done it more often.

It benefits him because he gets to yell at somebody. He needed to throw his anger somewhere and he did. Just like running to Silver allows him to talk to someone about it. I'm not saying he's not allowed to do those things but he took it one step further and started pursuing her as a result of the situation.

He admitted months later...and only because Ade annoyed him past his limit.

zerostress, I think that's a good point. Ade has NOBODY really. Her mom's pretty much disappeared. Navid was kind of like a family member/boyfriend/someone she thought she could trust. I'm not saying he' s worthy of her love anymore but it's not just some high school relationship she can easily let go of.

I can't defend him there..him and Silver completely messed up when it came to the cheating part. I would've liked their storyline a lot more if the writers didn't go there but I still like them together.

ETA: Yeah, but he's not forcing her to be there. She's there willingly, on her own free will to use it as an opportunity for her own gain. I don't see how that's his fault? I would if she seemed uncomfortable but she seemed more than happy to be there, listening to it.

I'm not saying it's his fault. What I'm saying is that why would he all of a sudden think Adrianna was worthy of the time? I'm taking issue with some of the ugly things he's said and done to her in the past. Because again, he likes moaning about himself to someone.

He really isn't. He knew what Ade was before he got w/ her. But the minute Ade was turning into something he couldn't handle he did what a loser does, instead of being upfront and breaking up w/ her w/ no lies, strung her along, false hope, empty promises, guilt tripped her and then cheated on her w/ her bestfriend.

What Navid did was disgusting. I still can't believe Dixon hasn't punched him. Keep telling me this guy is his bestfriend, how would Navid react if Dixon were to do that? reguardless if he wasn't dating her..we saw how he reacted when Ade moved on w/ Javier and now he just did one worse.

And unfortunately mustache twirling, cartoon villain/evil sinister music on cue as she enters a room Adrianna is present.

He literally stayed w/ her only b/c he believed she didn't have it in her to move on in life w/o him. And all Ade does is prove the theory right. (Thanks RRKS for ruining a character for now)
