I did and I am just so freaking over Conde, I can't even!! Truly one of the most selfish, childish characters I've seen in a long time and those two things have really rubbed off on Mary while in his presence as well.

I was so happy to see Francis wake up and his speech to Mary gave me life, I was rooting "you tell her Francis!" and quite frankly she deserved every word. Still, Francis unlike Mary as of late, was not cruel..even though he could have been, he was simply honest with her. Even after so much betrayal, Francis still handles himself with so much class

I was pretty much hating Mary throughout the whole episode, the way she kept making Francis' condition all about her but it was nice to see her finally doing something decent in the end and choosing to stay by his side rather than run off with Conde. I think Francis' words about Mary abandoning her husband and country and never trusting her again really gutted her..and rightfully so. Quite honestly, Mary's behavior as of late has been shameful.

The episode was worth it alone for Francis telling Mary off in the most perfect way imaginable. Seriously, the husband you're cheating on is still sending troops because he cares about YOUR country's citizens when he could have YOU beheaded? Mary picked a wonderful man but of course she doesn't appreciate it. Instead she chose a selfish guy with a temper....the male version of season 2.5 Mary.

Bash killing Clarissa. It was an interesting twist but I don't understand why they didn't just leave her dead in the first place. And is Nostradamus ever coming back?

I kinda need Claude to stay away from Leith. I'm sick of these season 2 upstarts coming in between my season 1 couples. If there were no Greer, I'd be okay with Leith/Claude though.

Lola's really disappeared into the background. I'm sorry, not sorry. Sorry, James. Although, there are times I wish Mary would disappear. Maybe Francis can throw her in the tower for another few days.

He handled Mary with so much class and respect. Quite frankly, I think he gave her more than she deserved but that's Francis for you, a man of honor to the bitter end.


Yeah, it was pretty out of the blue but I loved that it showed just how far Bash is willing to go for his brother. The brotherly bond gives me such feels

I would've been okay with Leith/Claude if Leith/Greer hadn't already been established as a ship since the start of the show. I get annoyed though by Claude always going after unavailable men and the girl whines more than a toddler I'd like to see her paired with someone that can challenge her to be a better person, kind of like how Bash did for Kenna..but then that all went to crap in a hand basket anyways


Lola's where she belongs though as much as I hate to say it, I find her more tolerable than Mary these days

YESS!! Francis should indeed lock Mary away in the tower again and tell her "you can come out when you come to your bloody senses and stop acting like a petulant child"

I've caught up on most of my shows now. Still 3 eps behind on TO but I can't decide whether to take the plunge and suffer through the eps or keep putting it off

Yeah, I probably should I've kept up with what's happening on the show through tumblr though and everything I've read about and seen, I'm just like yeah, I have absolutely no interest in watching that Between TO and Reign, I've just had enough of character regression and assassination..just ugh

Thank god for Game of Thrones which has actually been rocking it since the premiere this season

Has anyone heard about the lawsuit going on with Empire? Apparently Fox is being sued by the record label who have taken issue with "a series that features a label run by a homophobic drug dealer prone to murdering his friends" their direct quote but apparently willing to overlook this "offensive material" if the real life record label's artists are featured on the show I really do hope it gets worked out though because Empire is easily the best show I've seen on Fox in years.

They're already upgrading actor's contracts on Empire, I heard, so it's probably coming back.

Can you imagine if Francis wasn't there and Mary was king? She'd rule everything based on her irrational decisions and hurt feelings. Season 1 Mary could've handled it. Not this Mary. Doesn't Mary have any affection for the French people she's been living with for almost two years? Then again, look how she treats her own husband.....

True, and if you think about it, Bash was also saving his other brothers. Clarissa's a loose cannon and who knows what would've happened if she were kept alive.

Agreed. Claude really is a brat, but I tolerate her more than Mary right now so that's something. They could've kept that general that found Kenna in the woods. He seems like a good guy, and perfect for Claude.
I'm just afraid THESE writers will make me dislike Leith or Greer in a triangle, and I used to think that'd be impossible.

I miss my hot Frary so much. Watching Monde go at it is disgusting, like snuggling with a wet fish.

Well the show was renewed for a second season before the first even hit midseason so I'm sure it'll come back but this happened with another show I watched and the lawsuit kept things tied up for quite a while.



Oh god, Mary would be a complete tyrant as king to be honest. Old Mary wouldn't have been but this Mary is totally selfish and makes big country altering decisions based on impulse and her own personal desires alone. Notice how when she thought Francis was dying she still said "I'm sorry for the pain WE have caused each other" rather than "I'm sorry for the pain I've caused you", even in what she thought was Francis' last breath, Mary still made it all about her


Very true and it wasn't all that out of character for Bash. Though he usually seems to struggle with the ethics of it, in the end he never really has a difficult time making that life and death call when it comes to saving someone he loves.


Ugh I know. I would give anything to be rid of Conde at this point on both my two biggest cw shows, there's that one character that just won't go away


Oh I tolerate Claude WAY more than Mary at this point but that's mostly because I've never been invested in her character the way I was Mary's. With Mary, I was so emotionally attached that it really mattered to me what happened to her and what she did whereas with Claude, I just don't really care much either way


I miss Frary so much and I miss liking Mary I hate that Mary can just go on frolicking with Conde knowing that Francis, HER HUSBAND, is heart broken and miserable at this point, I don't even think she deserves Francis anymore and as much as I do miss them, she's got a lot to make up for before I'll ever be okay with Francis taking her back.


I have and I continue to be impressed with Snow. I'm just loving her more and more these days and that look of darkness on Emma's face after pushing Cruella was intense

I was very underwhelmed by Cruella's backstory though, same with Ursella. Maleficent is the only new villain that has any real depth or interest for me.

Francis continues to be the best character on the show, how he hasn't had Mary beheaded yet is beyond me. I actually saw glimpses last night of something still there between them. And as much as I dislike Lola, when she asked Mary if she was confusing gratitude for love with Conde I couldn't help but like her in that exact second because she hit the nail on the head.

At least Mary owned up to it being her fault. It annoyed me a little though because I feel like part of the reason she did it was to try and spare Conde from the wrath of Francis. You can tell Francis still loves her very much, and I'd even argue that she still loves him a lot too she's just an idiot right now...and has been most of this season.

I liked the Catherine and Narcisse stuff. But Catherine could stare at a wall all episode and I'd love her. I strongly dislike where this Kenna/whatever this guy's name is is going. I don't buy that she suddenly stopped caring about Bash that much that fast. Why must this show drag my ships through the mud?
