They were seriously fantastic in the last episode.

And I've always loved Dexter and Deb's chemistry, but more so right now than ever before. I just effin' love everything about their scene and their connection.

The chemistry really beamed off the screen between these two in the last episode!!

So happy they are finding their (still frail but still there..) way back to each other.. I'm still concerned about how Deb will cope, I'm not sure she's showing all of her emotions at the moment or even aware of all of them. She's dealing with a lot and so is Dex..

I guess it's a good thing Vogel is there to some degree but I'm not sure how safe either is with her around either. She does march to her own beat doesn't she, largely at the cost of her patients and their wellbeing (relative term in psychopaths perhaps but still)..

Nonetheless, I was very happy to see them inching back towards each other again, because there's no doubt they need each other. I loved Deb's answer to Dex about her saving him because she couldn't imagine her life without him..

And at the same time, the fact that it appeared Deb had not only made peace with all of it, but was actually more than ok with it, is an important moment for Dexter. To have Deb's approval is huge for him. As funny as I thought her comment was in some ways, the look on his face is telling.

After all of this, everything they've been through, all the worrying Dexter did... After everything, it must be quite a relief for him to see her so calm about it all.

I loved their scenes together in this episode. I know it's still hard for Deb, but to see Dex kill Yates and saving them, she knows what he does isn't the worst thing in the world.
