Their first wedding was funny.



Then they got remarried on the same day 3 years later. I remember Esta said that that she had a bodyguard follow her to the bathroom because the jewelry she wore was worth over a million dollars. In the AMC SOD issue they did when they show ended, they mentioned it being the most expensive wedding dress in AMC history. When Esta did the video podcast by herself, they brought up that picture of Josh photobombing them and she said it had been a long day lol.

Oh wow, I didn't know today was the anniversary of both of their weddings. I also forgot they got married on the same day both times, which makes it even more special. Happy Anniversary to Ryan and Gillian!

It was really special that they got married on the same day at the same place. I saw lots of love for them on Twitter today. It's nice to know other people remember them and it's not just us here lol

Hey camfan, maybe absurb bordering on humor would be a better description. Basically, Gillian had to get married or she was going to be deported, so she was going to marry Scott. Liza lied to Ryan and said Gillian was rich and the only way he could stay out of jail is if her married her, so he up and interrupted the wedding and convinced her to marry him instead of Scott.

There were some funny moments at their first wedding. Like when Ryan picked Gillian up and carried her out of the chapel while she was yelling

I also laugh at the Father of the Bride music. Obviously that was when AMC had some money lol.
