I agree, though I've never wanted a baby. Which part of 2001 was that storyline in?

^Around Valentine's Day. Thankfully that Jake baby stuff was fairly short.

Oof. In terms of Ryan and Gillian as a couple on good terms 2001 was actually one of their better Valentine's too. If not the best.

I think they cut the baby storyline short because they found out Kelly Ripa was pregnant in real life and they didn't want 2 pregnancy storylines.

I have mixed feelings about it. I would have only wanted the baby to born if it was Ryan's. But it would have been nice to have Gillian have a baby because when she left there would have been a part of her still on the show. One of my biggest pet peeves is how they acted like Gillian never existed

Yeah, I always wished Ryan and Gillian had a child. Then at least there would of still been a piece of her left behind after the ridiculous way they killed her off.

That's a great picture! I 've seen others from that photoshoot, but not that one, so thanks for posting it.

IIRC, that came from their first magazine cover together. Cam mentioned it in that interview that did on facebook last year, at least I think that's the one. I believe it was an SOU issue.

I think getting married for a green card is pretty common in soaps. AMC had already done it in the early 90s with Brian and An Li, but Ryan & Gillian are the only supercouple I know of to come from that sort of beginning.

I feel like they tried to copy this for Ryan and Greenlee. I blocked most of it out, but I believe when they first got married it was for a business deal and then they "fell in love." The whole thing makes me sick.

On a happier note, im glad I got to show you all a picture of them you've never seen, and I actually have another one to share! I'll try to post it sometime this week.
