Cant say Im surprised about that. After Kristina left he didn't have much of a story. The Lady in White Story has been awful. No wonder he wanted to leave.

Since everyone is complaining, I will join the annoyed party.
 I personally miss Megan Ward. Who is this new actress playing Kate? She does not pull off the part for me at all. Maurice had chemistry with Megan but this actress doesn't have chemistry with him at all.__________________

I liked Megan too actually. Not sure why they felt the need to reboot Skate with a new actress.

It honestly fails to make any sense to me. I know that Megan Ward was available and very fond of the role, so it wasn't her doing.
The new Kate is just not a good actress in my opinion. She's almost as bad as the Carly recast who shall not be named.  __________________
