Carrie: (nodding) I guess that astrologer in Vegas was right. Our love is in the stars.

Mike: I love you more than I ever dreamed I would ever love anybody.

Mike: I'm not walking out on you. I just...I think we both need time to heal. There's been so much betrayal and so much pain and I have made so many decisions that I don't respect. I just want to be the kind of man who's truly worth of your love.

Carrie: You already are that man.

Mike: (shaking his head) Nope...No, I'm not. But hopefully someday I will be...I love you so much, Carrie Reed.

Mike: I love you, and I will marry you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I want you to be happy. So, I'll wait - I'll wait as long as it takes.

Mike: I'm never going to stop loving you. And I don't think a love like that can be denied. In spite of all the pain that our love's caused, I don't think that it's going to deprive us or take from us. I think that it can help us find what we're looking for. I think it can make us complete.

Mike: If you just let yourself be free, and if you just remember our love - and how it touched our hearts and souls.

Carrie: I never forgot, Mike.

THE PROPOSAL

Mike: I love you Carrie Brady.

Carrie: I love you Mike Horton.

Mike: I was kind of hoping you might want to take the name 'Horton'. That is - if you agree to be my wife.

Carrie just stares at him as he gets down on one knee. Mike takes a deep breath.

Mike: Carrie, will you marry me?

Carrie: Yes. A thousand times, YES!!

Mike kisses her hand and slides a beautiful diamond ring onto her left hand. She opens her mouth in amazement, and looks up at Mike lovingly. He kisses her passionately, and she wraps her arms around him tighter.

Mike: We're going to have one incredible life together.

Carrie: You bet we are.

Mike: My lady, your stallion awaits.

He helps her up onto the horse, and Mike hoists himself up and sits behind her.

Mike: Hold on tight! We're going for the ride of our life.

Mike wraps his arms around Carrie and they gallop off into the sunset to start the rest of their lives together.

the thing was i couldn't stand Carrie at first and the whole time she was with Austin but when she was with Mike i started to enjoy her and her scenes... they were really cute together.

so far the opening looks great.

Carrie and Mike were really a great couple... i was so disappointd when Carrie came back a couple years ago and she was back in "Austin Mode".

Why did they bring Austin/Carrie back together again?

Those two always bored me to tears. I mean, I loved Austin and I loved Carrie but never really cared for them together.

omg, I LOVED this couple. they were the first I shipped online. I was so tired of the austin/sami/carrie triangle, and mike was so refreshing...this was one of the few couples that i was emotionally satisfied with from beginning to end. 1997 to 1999. I hated they broke up when Carrie returned but I loved that place in time.

Yes, they were so amazing.

I'll always feel that Carrie deserves better than Austin, and Mike loved her for all she was. They really complimented each other.

yeah, i was always much more of a Carrie/Mike fan. he really loved her and showed it and he put her first. Carrie and Austin just bored me to tears.
