Also, it's weird how comfortable they were in Argentina when they woke up with a baby crying, they were just like "oh, let's go get her." instead of being like "why is there a baby here?!" or even like "are we at Marshall and Lily's?"

yea, I wonder if they (the writers) were going to do something with that but then changed their minds.

I know Robin can't have kids and I'm not sure I would have wanted them to have them just because I feel it's more in their personalities to not have them even if Barney did seem to want them at times, I just like the idea of them being the cool aunt and uncle who spoils their nieces and nephews rotten and makes trouble for the parents!

ML and TT would be so exasperated with them.

he told his mom that he wasn't marrying Robin to hopefully start a family, he was marrying her because she means more to him than having kids.

so I think he was okay with just being cool uncle Barney for Robin, because he loved her more than that.

which is probably why when he wasn't with her and the girl got pregnant, he realized that he could probably like having a kid.
