I'm glad you live in Brisbane too, Sam. Nothing bad seems to happen there.
I hope you can watch Christine, Katie. It's one of the best horror movies of the 1980s, and one of John Carpenter's best, along with The Thing and The Fog. __________________

Hi, Sam! I hope everything is going well for you down there.
Hi, Katie! Sorry I didn't post much here yesterday. There was a Phillies/Yankees double header and I got distracted. I'm watching the Phillies and the Flyers with no crowds in the stadiums. Here's the opening scene from Christine to whet your appetite, Katie. I hope you get a chance to watch it. The opening scene is set in Detroit, 1958, in a Plymouth automobile assembly plant, then jumps forward to California, 1978. But the movie came out in 1983, so I don't know why it's set in 1978. It's a John Carpenter movie. Halloween, The Fog, Escape From New York, The Thing, etc. __________________

Thank you, Sam. Yes, always to all of us.
I do hope we get an NFL season. More and more players are opting out of the season due to coronavirus. Quote:
You're welcome. I hope you get a chance to watch Christine. I love how the scene segues from the 1950s with Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away" to the present day with Tanya Tucker's remake of the song. __________________

Think the deadline that they can do that by has passed though

So they have no choice but to go through with the season then?
I heard at least 20 players opted out of the 2020 season. __________________

Well, I just hope it doesn't turn into the mess that the MLB season has become with all these postponed games.
Eagles coach Doug Pederson tested positive for Covid-19 but he's asymptomatic, so he says he'll be okay by week 1. __________________

Yeah, I hope not either.
Yeah, it is, but I just hope the players don't get infected. __________________
