I'm just not sure I want it. I am a bit of sucker for "I still love you after all this time" storylines, but at the same time I hate when people keep dragging on their toxic past relationships trying to convince each other they are meant to be, when in fact they are just stuck in an abusive cycle

Exactly, and I feel like people try to pass off the abusive cycles as romantic always meant to be type of things. And it was rude of cook to try and manipulate her back into a relationship during her mental breakdown.

True! And as for Cook, you know, I think Cook geniunely thought it would work, just as many other people who think love can heal a mental illness! I don't think he was taking advantage of her, he seemed to care way too much!
