Before the end of season 13, we knew the cast had signed for 1 year and option for 2nd year . So while we waited to hear of a renewal, most of the media was like the budget is already set .

Looks like we're getting a JJ flashback episode. We'll see young JJ, her sister and dad in flashbacks, and Will and her kids will be in the episode as well
