Yeah, I wonder if everything with Les Moonves made CBS not do any extra stuff at the TCAs. It looks like Showtime and The CW, which I think are also owned by CBS(?), also only had panels. Fox had red carpet appearances as well as panels.

As for the theme of season 14, I think they should dial back on the causing team misery.

Yeah, we've already got Garcia and Reid in danger in the premiere. And they just did the team drama last season with Barnes (which fell short, in my opinion). I know they like doing the multi-arc episodes, but I hate to say it, but they come up short a lot with them. I would like if they mostly stick to cases of the week and throw in some character centric episodes now and then. Especially if the season is shorter than usual, I'd hate to see so much time wasted on them cramming and rushing in stuff with a multi-arc story. If it's the last few episodes, it might be okay, but when they cram it into the middle of the season it feels odd.

At the TCA, there was talk of possibly giving Criminal Minds a few more episodes in the season. They also discussed "meeting with the cast and crew at the right time" to discuss the future of the show.

I don’t know IF this is the post to put this?! I saw the movie Mamma Mia they showed a preview for a movie “Life itself” Mandy Patinkin/ ex Gideon is going to be in it.He looks like Grisley Adams (beard and mustache). Is there a post here for Off-topic conversations for actors who use to be on Criminal Minds??

Since we are in August , I guess in September we will get our first look at criminal minds new season . They should make a general trailer for the season , clips of the team without showing Garcia or Ried . We had read already from the head of CBS television , that they were looking into more episodes of criminal minds . Yet in the same conversation . Head of CBS television was stressing more original contebt . Instead of repeats more first run Episodes.

Then like any other TV network , There will be new shows that bomb , then opening up time slots to be filled . Swatt and Elementary benefited from a few shows that got canceled mid season. Getting more episodes .

15 is very good , that is like a Netflix series +3 . Most Netflix series ars 10 to 12 episodes.
Add in 6 more I am happy !
Then CM will be at 321 episode , We would still need another season 1/2 to make it to 350

Wikipedia has some of the episode titles for season 14. Matthew directs episode 4,June 25 2018 it was revealed(I think was the word they used) that Matthew/Joe/Aisha/Adam will be directing an episode(episodes) this season and AJ Cook will be making her First directorial debut directing an episode this season. The episode Matthew directs is titled "The Tall Man" interesting!.. Hmm

Do you mean the title of the episodes(theme for season 14). Wikapedia listed 4 titles The first one titled 300 and the 4th one The Tall Man (directed by Matthew).??
