It is hard on me when kids are involved , no children killed or phisicley harmed tonight .
Difficult ep as the unsub story was all over the place . Got my Spencer JJ stuff and dr Reid getting asked buy Luke the difference on the books he was reading . JJ sensing the 10 min Spence dissertation quickly leaves !!! I did feel the ep jumped to much , first girl was no help . 2nd girl was more the meat of the story and part of thr focus . Rossi proposal to wife 3 again was a nice touch __________________

I just watched this one today because I was too busy last week to watch.
I liked this episode. There was a good amount of profiling and I thought the case was interesting. I liked that we seemed to figure out the case and motive along with the team. I really liked the use of Tara, Rossi, Reid and Prentiss in this one. Hmm, maybe the writers should take note and make sure to feature these 4 more Garcia being snarky with Luke was odd. It didn't fit with how she's been with him lately. It would be one thing if she still occasionally teased him in a joking way, but this didn't seem to be the case here. She seemed full on annoyed that she was stuck with him and kept making little remarks. Reid said classes were getting ready to start up. What exactly is the time frame right now? Wouldn't most classes have started by September at the latest? The episode was filmed in late September/early October, so maybe that's why? JJ was a bit off putting in that scene in the beginning with Reid. JJ, you were the one who asked him about all the books he had, and then you just walk away because you're not interested? I get that Reid can ramble on, but she should have known that he would likely ramble when she asked him in the first place. And she's supposed to be his best friend I wish the promo hadn't given away the Rossi and Krystall engagement. The synopsis said one thing and the promo showed us the complete opposite. And the promo didn't even show anything about the actual case. I think CBS needs a new promo maker for Criminal Minds. And of course it was Garcia who ruined the surprise. I feel like we've had plenty of instances of these profilers getting caught up in something they're saying without realizing their surroundings. I get that Krystall was out of view but Garcia just started blabbering the second Rossi opened the door. It's likely Garcia could have heard someone in there with Rossi. Or what if he was on the phone with someone and they were able to hear what Garcia said? These profilers need better training in checking their surroundings when they're about to talk about someone LOL at Prentiss joking with Rossi about the color dress at the wedding. I myself was thinking if this would technically mean Rossi was married four times, even though there are only three wives. I do like how Prentiss is being used as unit chief this season. It seems like they found a good balance and fit for her. Although I wish Luke's disciplinary stuff had actually been shown more, I like that Prentiss acknowledged he did good work in the last episode and that she was working to get his SSA status back but that it would take time. I do like that he stayed behind with Garcia, though I'm curious as to why he had to do that. Maybe I missed it. Wouldn't Luke be allowed to still go in the field as a SA? I did like that he stayed behind since it still sort of played into what he did in the "Luke" episode. Also, not gonna lie, I kind of like how Prentiss was a bit annoyed with Garcia in the beginning when she kept asking where Rossi was without saying his name. Prentiss was just like "Where's who?!" Lol. I thought Tara's scenes at the hospital were nice. And when Ruby showed up at the cafe, I wasn't expecting that! Very good episode. |
