So the double episode is not connected story-wise?

It doesn't seem like they're connected. It seems like it'll be more like 8x23 and 8x24 than finales like seasons 7 and 9.
I'm not going to fault the writers though since the original plan was for these two episodes to be on separate nights. By the time the news came out that CBS decided to air both episodes on the same night, the episodes were already written and most likely in pre-production. |

Anyone want to take any guesses on who might be in danger in the finale cliffhanger?
There's a possibility of Reid. Based on the synopsis and a pic of a script BJ shared, it seems like Reid might be heavily involved in this episode. There's also a possibility the cliffhanger could be a total curve ball and not be related to the majority of the episode. |

Wasn't there an article that it's going to be a guessing game on which character is in peril, so I think it's gonna be something like S12 and S3 finale. If it's Reid again, ugh I like the character but it's too much of him...
I bet Aisha, Paget and Adam since their contracts are up |

Yeah, I kind of hope it's not Reid. Yeah, Reid wasn't involved in last season's cliffhanger, but he had that whole prison arc. And Reid's been through so much it's time to give him a break!
I can definitely see it being Prentiss, Luke and/or Tara since Paget, Adam and Aisha have contracts that are up. But since Prentiss was kidnapped in the season 13 premiere and had the whole getting suspended and possibly leaving arc this season, I kind of hope it isn't her either. I wouldn't mind seeing Rossi. I feel like compared to the others (well, not the newbies) he hasn't had as much to deal with. Out of the newer members, I'd prefer Tara and/or Luke over Simmons. I feel like Simmons has gotten a lot to do this season and the next episode is going to be a Simmons episode. Tara's always been a bit more of a background character who gets her moments to shine here and there. Luke's kind of been in the background more this season (probably because Simmons portrays the same role). I just hope 300 is a good team episode. JJ got 200 so if she's front and center again I'll be disappointed. Since it seems like multiple team members will be in danger, hopefully it allows for a good team episode. |

CM will miss May sweeps by a week. Even if the finale hadn't been pushed up, they still would have missed it by a day
May Sweeps Scorecard 2018: Spoilers on Deaths, Weddings, Sex and More | TVLine Even though it won't be included in TV Line's scorecard, I'm sure CM will have some "possible fatalities" Last edited by jls2971; 04-03-2018 at 05:37 PM |

I really don't mind them missing some April and May airings since ratings take a downturn during those months. What I'd mind is them not being renewed.
Wishing that CM can hold even a 1 for tomorrow's episode, CPD is back but is a rerun. |

can't go anywhere without seeing hate towards JJ. I can't believe people feel like AJ & JJ didn't deserve 200. AJ put her heart and soul into the show for 6 years and then she was abruptly fired for no reason. That damage can never be undone or forgotten. It was a big deal & they owe it to fans to explain what happened to JJ. You can criticise the storyline but saying AJ & her character didn't deserve 200 ...just disgusting. She has been part of the show from the very beginning and she's the heart of the family/team.
Filming 200 was incredibly hard for AJ. She was tortured. Literally. You can't call that 'acting'. I have no idea how she didn't get an Emmy. They handed the whole 10th season to someone who didn't deserve it the least bit. That someone also got the pregnancy storyline that was originally meant for AJ and her miracle baby. The season finale was also wasted on her even though the CM family lost Shemar and Thomas the next year. Thomas never even got a goodbye episode. This is unforgivable. But no one calls her out. Nothing brings back the money and nothing in the world brings back the time and effort that was wasted on her. It can't ever be brought back. It is forever lost. |

For me, it wasn't that I didn't think JJ didn't deserved a story line. It's that 200 was a milestone episode and should have been a team episode, not focused on just one character. Even with 100, while it was a "Hotch" story the team was still heavily involved and the story was unfolded for the audience through the different team members. And we saw how emotional everyone, not just Hotch, was. But with 200, the team barely had anything to do and they seemed to be emotionally detached. I didn't feel a huge sense of urgency or a lot whole of worry/concern. It was almost like it was just another old day and another regular case for them to solve when it should have had more of an impact on them.
If they wanted to do this JJ story in season 7, fine. There still would have been flaws because of the writing, but it probably would have made more sense and worked better. But it shouldn't have been the 200th episode. Yes, AJ dedicated a lot of time to the show but so had Thomas, Shemar, Matthew, Kirsten, Joe and Paget. They made a big deal about Paget returning and she wasn't used a whole lot. I wish Kirsten and Erica had thought of Nelson's Sparrow earlier, because that would have been a good 200th episode |

This week and last week ratings going up or staying higher . That is a good sign for CBS/ABC Studios to renew the show .

Hopefully they can get a 1.0 or higher for the 2 hour finale.
Chicago PD was a repeat last night. If it's new next week CM might get a 0.9 again next week but hopefully the two hour finale will bump up again |
