Is that something new, or have you had that on your kindle for a while?

I bought the kindle book the other night. Every now and then when I get the urge I'll skim through a book I've already read. Usually when I want to read but not start something new. The other night I skimmed The Deal. And remember how much I fell in love with it and and looked for more hockey romance books. It popped up on a list on GR and Colleen Hoover actually reviewed it and said she loved it and how hilarious it was.

That's great. It'a good to read pure romances now and then.

Discussion open on M/M romance in here? I finished one book the other day that had one fella licking the roof of the other fella's mouth. Really threw me out of the story!

I don't care to read m/m or f/f romances. But I haven nothing against them. Just not my thing.

That's fair enough! I will admit that after reading one M/M that was amazing I have read quite a few that were awful.

I think in the LGBT area of the genre the percent is about 80/20 bad to good. So unless you know someone who you trust with their recommendations then I wouldn't really venture in to it. A lot (and I mean A LOT) of the books in the LGBT space focus less on the finding love and HEA, and more on the social and political issues associated with LGBT. It can mean some far fetched back stories, some reaching plot devices, and sometimes some pretty hefty triggering material. The HEA happens but the authors put their characters through the ringer first.

I've read a handful of M/M that have been all about the love, and the relationship; they have been in the minority however.
