I'm not particularly a fan of romance novels, but I do enjoy reading one from time to time. I loved Pride and Prejudice and I am currently reading The Rosary by Florence Barclay.

I think it depends on the romance. Some work, some doesn't.

Personally, I like romance in a book, but a book that is exclusively about romance... is most often boring in my opinion. :lol: But like I said, I quite enjoyed Pride and Prejudice.

I totally understand that, but if there are other things going on in the book it works. Like if there is a mystery or the characters have to overcome things during their relationship, it can work.
But again, everyone is different. |
